Disinfecting Our Local Fire Departments

Our team has cleaned multiple businesses in the area, including some of our local fire departments!

Once COVID-19 spread to North Carolina, most of us were asked to stay home with few exceptions. Although many of those restrictions have been lifted or relaxed, our local first responders have continued to serve our community through it all.

While we rely on their services, this unfortunately puts them at risk of being exposed to COVID-19. In fact, the Sawmills Fire Department recently had 6 confirmed cases on their force. While the department has been able to continue serving the community, it has highlighted the risk these men and women face.

SERVPRO of Alexander, Caldwell, Burke and Catawba Counties has always supported our local fire departments. That’s why we have offered to disinfect our local departments for free. We started with Sawmills Fire Department after their confirmed cluster, but we have also begun to clean and disinfect others throughout the community.
